Job summary

The Karo Platinum Project is seeking a Project Manager – Concentrator based in Bryanston, Johannesburg, with frequent travel to Zimbabwe. You will lead the Concentrator Project from detailed engineering through to handover, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams to meet scope, schedule, budget and safety targets.

The role demands extensive mining project experience, strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to manage complex EPCM delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Process, Electrical, Chemical or Mining Engineering.
• Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) will be advantageous.
• Professional registration with ECSA or equivalent will be highly advantageous.
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the Concentrator Project from detailed engineering through to operational handover.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams across disciplines.
