Job summary

Pollock & Associates in Cape Town seeks an experienced Compounder to weigh and mix raw materials for batch production in a cGMP environment. You will ensure accuracy, document batches, and maintain equipment readiness in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include three years of compounder experience, Matric or equivalent, and the ability to lift 25 kg. You must be organised, dependable and able to adapt to changing production plans.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a Compounder or similar in a relevant industry.
• Able to lift 25 kg and adapt to changing production plans.
• Familiar with cGMP and SOPs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurate weighing and combining of raw materials as per the Batch Manufacturing Document.
• Raw material stock counts and expiry checks.
• Operation, cleaning and daily verification of equipment and instruments.
• Immediate, accurate batch documentation, checked before submission.

A well-established consumer products manufacturer in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs needs an experienced Compounder. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will weigh and combine raw materials to produce batches that meet specification the first time, in a cGMP facility where accuracy and procedure matter at every step.

What you will own

• Accurate weighing and combining of raw materials as per the Batch Manufacturing Document
• Raw material stock counts and expiry checks
• Operation, cleaning and daily verification of equipment and instruments
• Immediate, accurate batch documentation, checked before submission

What you bring

• Matric or NQF 4 equivalent
• Three years’ experience as a Compounder or in a similar role in a relevant industry
• Well organised and adaptable when production plans change
• Punctual, dependable and precise, and able to lift 25kg
