Job summary

Alexforbes is seeking a Compliance professional to lead group governance initiatives and oversee the regulatory tracker, reporting on compliance status to management and boards. You design control self-assessments and support monitoring plans across the group.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in financial services, with advantageous RE1/RE5 or ACAMS credentials. Flexible, hybrid work is offered with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree qualification or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Solid understanding of compliance principles, governance, risk management, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Ability to identify and analyze issues in risk and internal control environments.
• RE1/RE5, ACAMS or CPrac advantageous

Responsibilities

• Update Regulatory tracker for new and amended legislation.
• Advise management on regulatory compliance through detailed reports.
• Support first-line compliance and business with feedback before legislation goes live.
• Ensure compliance universe stays current and aligned with risk.
• Design and monitor risk-based control self-assessments.
• Assist with compliance monitoring plans and reporting to committees.
