Placements24 is seeking a proactive Compliance Officer to join our client’s team in a fully remote capacity. You will ensure adherence to FICA, POPIA, AML/KYC and other banking regulations, monitor activities, and advise stakeholders on regulatory requirements.

The role offers remote work flexibility across South Africa, with a focus on risk assessment, policy updates, and staff training to foster a strong compliance culture in a dynamic financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in compliance, audit, or a related role within the financial services sector.
• Thorough knowledge of local and international financial regulations (e.g., FICA, POPIA, AML/KYC).
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory documents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
