Job summary

ICG Medical is seeking a Healthcare Recruitment Compliance professional in the Western Cape to ensure all candidate registrations, regulatory checks and documentation meet requirements prior to placement.

You will support the Senior Compliance Officer, manage CRM/ATS records, and liaise with recruiters, clients, and external bodies to keep compliance up-to-date and accurate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in healthcare recruitment compliance.
• Experience working with CRM/ATS systems, ideally VDQ, Eclipse and/or Now We Comply.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and Adobe.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Confident problem solver who can work independently and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring candidates meet all compliance, regulatory and contractual requirements before being placed with clients.
• Supports the Senior Compliance Officer with day-to-day compliance activities and escalates issues when required.
• Acts as a key point of contact between candidates, recruiters, external organisations and the Brand Sales team.
• Verify professional registrations, eligibility to work and candidate compliance requirements.
• Manage candidate documentation, background checks, fitness-to-work requirements and mandatory training.
• Ensure appropriate professional indemnity cover is in place.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and compliance information on the CRM/ATS.
• Keep databases and documentation up to date and ensure all compliance activities are completed within agreed deadlines.
• Record all candidate and stakeholder communications accurately.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports within agreed timeframes.
• Identify, resolve and elevate compliance issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with the Sales and Recruitment teams to support candidate placements.
• Assist with additional compliance-related tasks and support business objectives.
