Job summary

MANPOWER Group in Gauteng seeks a Compliance Officer to develop and maintain an effective compliance management framework within the Financial Services sector. You will identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory risks and support governance structures with robust reporting.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in compliance or related field, 3–5 years' experience, and strong knowledge of FAIS, FICA, POPIA, and TCF. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Compliance, Law, Risk Management, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years' compliance experience in Financial Services.
• Experience in compliance risk management, regulatory monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
• Knowledge of regulatory framework for Financial Services Providers (FAIS, FICA, POPIA, TCF).
• FSCA Phase 1 approval as Compliance Officer advantageous.
• Strong understanding of FAIS, FICA, POPIA, TCF and related requirements.
• Advanced reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Deliver compliance training and awareness programmes across the business.

• Maintain compliance registers, monitoring plans, and risk assessments.
• Support the business in creating practical controls that promote regulatory compliance and positive customer outcomes.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Compliance, Law, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years' compliance experience within the Financial Services industry.
• Proven experience in compliance risk management, regulatory monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
• Sound knowledge of the regulatory framework applicable to Financial Services Providers.
• FSCA Phase 1 approval as a Compliance Officer will be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of FAIS, FICA, POPIA, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), and related regulatory requirements.
• Advanced reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
