Job summary

Netcare invites you to contribute as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary in a clinical ward setting. You will provide direct and indirect nursing care under supervision, manage patient possessions, maintain documentation, and ensure efficient use of stock and equipment within the ward.

Key duties include monitoring vital signs, performing procedures per hospital standards, complying with infection prevention measures, and supporting the shift handover. Night and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Registered Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary with SANC.
• Adherence to health care legislations and scope of practice.
• Basic clinical competency including infection control and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a therapeutic, clean and safe ward environment as per policy.
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient status.
• Carry out nursing procedures under supervision and report outcomes.
• Practice infection prevention and standard precautions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
• Attend handover and refer queries to sister-in-charge.
