Job summary

Netcare invites you to join our team as an Enrolled Nurse. You will provide direct and indirect nursing care under supervision of a Registered Nurse, contributing to high quality patient care within a safe environment.

Key duties include maintaining accurate records, stock control, patient care, teamwork, and ongoing professional development in line with Netcare policies. A registered Enrolled Nurse with SANC is required.

Qualifications

• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Compliance with the SANC code for an Enrolled Nurse and health care legislation.
• Relevant experience in the nursing discipline.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a therapeutic, clean and safe environment for patients.
• Assist with administration and stock control, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Provide direct and/ or indirect nursing care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Promote infection prevention and standard precautions.
• Participate in ward/unit quality improvement programmes and handovers.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, relatives and staff.
