Job summary

Placements24 is seeking enthusiastic Community Sports Coaches to deliver engaging, skill-building programs for children and youth in the Queenstown area. You will plan and lead sessions, promote physical activity, and foster teamwork in a safe, supportive environment.

The role requires relevant coaching qualifications and/or certifications, experience with youth, strong sport-specific knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Relevant coaching qualifications and/or certifications in specific sports (e.g., Football, Netball, Athletics).
• Previous experience in coaching or working with youth in a sports context.
• Strong understanding of sports principles, skill development, and age-appropriate training methods.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• First Aid certification is required.
