Job summary

Placements24 in Queenstown, Eastern Cape, is seeking a dedicated Community Sports Coordinator to drive participation and wellbeing through local programs for all ages and abilities, fostering healthy competition and active living.

You will develop, implement and manage community sports programs and events, build strong partnerships with schools, clubs and community groups, recruit volunteers, ensure facility safety, and monitor budget and outcomes for continual improvement.

Qualifications

• A National Certificate or Diploma in Sports Management, Recreation, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience coordinating or managing community sports programs.
• Demonstrated ability in program planning, event management, and volunteer coordination.
• Strong knowledge of various sports and their rules.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• First Aid certification is a plus.
