Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Community Mobilization Officer to support health programs in Kimberley, South Africa. The role focuses on engaging community members, promoting health-seeking behaviours, and facilitating access to healthcare services at the grassroots level.

You will build trust across diverse groups, raise health awareness, and drive community participation in health initiatives, with strong emphasis on interpersonal communication and cultural sensitivity.

Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification in Social Sciences, Community Development, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in community mobilization, engagement, or a similar role.
  • Ability to travel within the Kimberley region and work flexible hours as required.

About the Role
