• Strong leadership, budgeting and grant reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the strategic development and day-to-day management of community health programs.
• Ensure programs are designed based on community needs assessments and evidence-based practices.
• Manage program budgets, resources, and staff effectively.
• Build and maintain partnerships with clinics, hospitals, government health departments, and community organizations.
• Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track progress and impact.
• Organize health awareness campaigns, screening events, and educational workshops.
• Supervise and mentor program staff and volunteers.
• Prepare regular reports for stakeholders, including funders and the board.
• Advocate for policies that improve community health.
• Stay current with public health trends in the Western Cape.
