The role requires a Code 10 with PDP, 4+ years’ experience in van or light truck operations, and a clean driving record. You will work autonomously within a safety-driven logistics team in George.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vans safely and efficiently on scheduled delivery routes throughout the George area and surrounds.
• Load and unload a diverse range of commercial products, ensuring correct handling and securing of freight.

• Perform routine inspections of the vehicle, including checking fluids, tires, and brakes, and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Requirements

• A valid South African driver’s license with a minimum Code 10 endorsement and Professional Driving Permit (PDP) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 4 years of verified experience as a commercial driver, preferably with van or light truck operations.
• Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving goods weighing up to 30kg.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the George and surrounding Western Cape road network.
• Proven track record of efficient time management and ability to work under pressure.

• A clean driving record and a valid criminal clearance certificate.
