Job summary

Teichmann Group's Assets business seeks an Investment & Commercial Manager to act as the Executive Director's right hand on commercial transactions, contracts and opportunities. This embedded, hands-on role goes beyond back-office support and is designed to free the ED to pursue growth.

You will own reviews of contracts, negotiate shareholder agreements and SLAs, drive due diligence and coordinate with external advisers, with exposure to mining, agriculture and infrastructure assets and a clear

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a legal/commercial role.
• Experience with M&A, transactions or commercial contracts is preferred.
• Strong ethics and commercial acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and conclude commercial contracts, shareholder agreements and SLAs with partners, clients and suppliers.
• Evaluate new investment and acquisition opportunities, including commercial due diligence.
• Drive transactions and processes to completion, coordinating deadlines.
• Apply legal and commercial judgement to identify gaps and mitigations in agreements.
• Build and maintain a register of material exposures with mitigations in place.
• Work with the Group Secretary to schedule and report board meetings.
