Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a senior commercial analyst to provide operations-focused financial insight and support across the Operating Unit. This role will drive profitability and costing improvements, enabling focused strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities include preparing the 5-year StratPlan, the Business Plan, the latest Forecast, and monthly performance reporting to track progress and inform leadership actions.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a cross functional manufacturing business
• Minimum of 10 years experience, including commercial costing, operational financial support and reporting and strategic management processes

• Prepare the annual 5 year StratPlan, Business Plan, latest Forecast and report on the performance against it on a monthly basis.

Provide commercial support and insight into the operations and performance of the Operating Unit. Analyse the financial performance of the BU and to make recommendations based on the findings and outcomes of the analysis. Prepare the annual 5 year StratPlan, Business Plan, latest Forecast and report on the performance against it on a monthly basis. Provide direct commercial support and insight to the Sales and Customer Teams. Facilitate the development of commercial engagement with the rest of the business. Deliver enhanced customer and business profitability and costing information designed to unlock margin opportunities and assist in focused strategic decision-making
