Job summary

Kelly is seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to grow and develop a business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance. You will sell personal and commercial lines through face-to-face prospecting and canvassing for new business, across Bedfordview, Centurion, Umhlanga, Cape Town, Stellenbosch, and Bloemfontein.

Responsibilities include managing your client book, earning recurring monthly commissions as long as clients stay onboard, and leveraging a comprehensive 4-week

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Valid code B driver’s license with own reliable vehicle and access to it.
• Minimum 3 years of external sales experience in face-to-face selling.
• Experience in lead generation, cold calling, relationship management and opening doors.
• If previously in Insurance, FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications and RE5 may be required depending on DOFA.

Our client in the insurance sector is seeking an experienced Broker whom will be responsible for growing and developing the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance. The individual will sell personal lines and Commercial lines by prospecting and canvassing for new business sales face to face. Required for the following areas - Bedfordview (Johannesburg), Centurion, Umhlanga, Cape Town, Stellenbosch and Bloemfontein

Requirements

• Matric
• Valid code B driver’s license with own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access to the vehicle
• 3 years of external sales experience in a face-to-face selling environment
• Experience in lead generation, cold calling, relationship management and opening doors
• Should you have previous Insurance experience - FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications and RE5 (depending on Date of first appointment - DOFA)
• Every new client signed becomes part of the broker’s portfolio (book).
• Brokers are responsible for managing and maintaining their client book and earn recurring monthly commission for as long as the client remains on their book.
• High potential earning – basic (Sliding scale after 2 months) + commission (Commission is calculated at 10% of the total value of the broker’s book)
