Qualifications

• Commercial finance expertise with senior stakeholder influence.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, budgeting and commercial decision support.
• Professional qualification CIMA or CA(SA) is required.

• Act as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership, providing commercial guidance that supports profitable growth, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making
• Lead the budgeting cycle, rolling forecasts, and long-term planning processes, ensuring financial objectives remain aligned to business priorities and market conditions
• Translate financial and operational data into meaningful business insights, helping leadership teams understand performance drivers, emerging trends, and areas requiring intervention
• Evaluate revenue streams, product portfolios, customer profitability, and operational performance to uncover opportunities for margin enhancement and sustainable growth
• Support pricing decisions, investment initiatives, and resource allocation through detailed financial evaluation, scenario planning, and commercial analysis
• Deliver clear and concise management reporting, including executive-level presentations, business reviews, financial commentary, and performance updates
• Partner closely with commercial, sales, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and operational teams to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and strengthen financial outcomes
• Drive accountability across the business through measurable performance indicators, actionable insights, and continuous monitoring against strategic and financial targets
• Champion process optimisation, reporting enhancements, automation initiatives, and data-driven decision-making to improve the effectiveness of the finance function
• Ensure financial integrity through effective governance, reporting accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal control frameworks
• Contribute to strategic projects, business transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement programmes aimed at enhancing competitiveness and shareholder value
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, commercial thinking, and continuous professional growth
