Job description

BVi Consulting Engineers Wester Cape (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for a Cold Recycling Application Engineer in their Cape Town office. This will be a permanent position.

This position is for a Cold Recycling Application Engineer in Loudon International. You will report to the Transportation Design Centre Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

Integrate with existing Transportation Infrastructure design office.
Provide construction, laboratory and design training for cold recycling projects.
Planning of construction activities and material requirements.
Travel internationally for cold recycling project evaluation and construction supervision.
Compilation of feasibility reports and design reports.
Road pavement design using mechanistic empirical analysis.
Conduct research on pavement technology.
Must have a B.Eng/B.Tech specialising in Civil Engineering
5-10 years of experience in the roads industry
Knowledge of cold recycling technology, specifically Bitumen Stabilised Materials (BSM)
Knowledge of and laboratory experience with pavement materials
Experience with cold recycling construction equipment
