Advtech in Pinnacle College Founders Hill - Preparatory is seeking a Coding and Robotics Teacher. The role focuses on delivering coding and robotics curricula to primary students, fostering creativity and critical thinking.

The ideal candidate will have a background in coding and robotics education, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage diverse learners. This is a locum/part-time position at a respected preparatory campus in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Experience teaching coding, robotics, or STEM subjects to primary school students.
• Familiarity with robotics kits such as LEGO Mindstorms, VEX Robotics, or Arduino.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging coding and robotics lessons for primary students.
• Design hands-on projects and activities applying learned concepts.
• Provide one-on-one support for students on projects.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate coding and robotics across subjects.
• Organize coding and robotics clubs, competitions, and events for students.
• Stay updated on new trends and update curriculum accordingly.
