Job summary

InvisionHR seeks highly skilled Welders to join upcoming petrochemical projects across South Africa and Namibia. Coded, Plate and Pipe Welders are needed to meet high quality, safety, and operational standards in fuel depots and refineries.

Responsibilities include welding to project specs, verifying alignment and fit-up, and maintaining zero defects through NDT inspections while adhering to safety, ISO/QCP guidelines and permit-to-work procedures.

Qualifications

• Recognised welding certification (Red Seal or equivalent).
• Proof of certification to ASME IX or AWS D1.1 in 4G (Plate) and/or 6G (Pipe).
• Strong understanding of Permit-to-Work Systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe, plate, structural, and coded welding per project specs and drawings.
• Ensure alignment, joint integrity and fit-up of piping systems and structures.
• Maintain a 0% defect rate and pass rigorous NDT/X-ray inspections.
