Job summary

InvisionHR seeks a highly skilled Spray Painter to support upcoming petrochemical projects across South Africa and Namibia. You will apply epoxy, zinc-rich, and polyurethane coatings on bulk fuel tanks, steel piping, and other industrial structures, ensuring coating integrity and compliance with project specs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years’ spray painting experience in petrochemical or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience painting bulk fuel tanks, steel piping or similar structures.
• Proficient with epoxy, zinc-rich and polyurethane coatings.

Responsibilities

• Apply coatings to surfaces using airless or conventional spray equipment.
• Maintain correct application techniques and ensure specified thickness and finish.
• Perform surface prep including cleaning, sanding and masking.
• Follow safety, quality control procedures and site regulations.
• Inspect finishes and assist with touch-ups or corrections.
