Job summary

Greys Recruitment is seeking Code 10 Drivers for our client in Mokopane to operate Code 10 vehicles safely, deliver goods, and comply with policies and road laws.

Requirements include a valid SA Code 10 (C1) licence with PDP/PrDP, 2-3 years of driving experience, good knowledge of SA roads, ability to work flexible hours, and physical fitness for loading as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid South African Code 10 (C1) driver’s licence with PDP/PrDP.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant driving experience.
• Good knowledge of South African roads and routes.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime when required.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading/offloading where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Code 10 vehicles, including trucks and other heavy vehicles.
• Deliver and collect goods according to scheduled routes.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical defects.
• Ensure goods are loaded, secured, transported, and offloaded safely.
• Complete delivery notes, trip sheets, and other required documentation.
• Comply with the Road Traffic Act, company policies, and health and safety procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle.
• Provide professional service to customers and clients.
• Report accidents, incidents, delays, or vehicle breakdowns promptly.
