Job summary

Greys Recruitment is seeking Code 10 Drivers in the Polokwane area to safely operate Code 10 vehicles for the transportation and delivery of goods, ensuring compliance with road traffic legislation, safety requirements, and customer service standards.

Applicants must hold a valid South African Code 10 (C1) licence with PDP/PrDP, have 2–3 years of driving experience, and be physically fit to assist with loading and unloading when required. Weekend shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Valid South African Code 10 (C1) driver's licence with PDP/PrDP.
• Minimum 2–3 years' relevant driving experience.
• Good knowledge of South African roads and routes.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Code 10 vehicles, including trucks and other heavy vehicles.
• Deliver and collect goods according to scheduled routes.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical defects.
• Ensure goods are loaded, secured, transported, and offloaded safely.
• Complete delivery notes, trip sheets, and other required documentation.
• Comply with the Road Traffic Act, company policies, and health and safety procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle.
• Provide professional service to customers and clients.
• Report accidents, incidents, delays, or vehicle breakdowns promptly.
