Job summary

You will read work orders and drawings, set up and operate both programmable and non-programmable equipment, perform inspections, and document quality checks. This role requires attention to tolerances and a mindset for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machine shop operations are completed in a timely, economical and efficient manner.
• Operate programmable and non-programmable machine shop equipment.
• Perform machine loading, setup and operation.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly equipment inspections and checks.
• Ensure machinery inspection plans are completed.
• Read and follow work orders, engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Work accurately to specified tolerances and quality requirements.
• Perform quality checks and complete inspection reports.
• Identify opportunities for quality and process improvement.
