Job summary

MC Technology Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Operator in Gauteng, Germiston, to join our client’s manufacturing team.

You will operate and set up CNC machines, read drawings, select tooling, and make adjustments while ensuring parts meet tolerances. The role requires strong measuring skills and commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric required.
• 23+ years CNC operating experience.
• Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machinery.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Select tooling and adjust machines.
• Measure components with verniers, micrometers and gauges.
• Ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.
• Perform basic fault-finding and report machine issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

• Good knowledge of measurements and tolerances.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• CNC setup/programming experience will be advantageous.
• Relevant technical qualification or trade certificate will be advantageous.
