Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage security for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). This fully remote role requires strong expertise in securing cloud infrastructures and maintaining compliance.

You will automate security policies, monitor threats, and collaborate with development and operations to embed security into CI/CD pipelines. A Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in cybersecurity with cloud focus are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years focused on cloud security.
• In-depth knowledge of security best practices and services on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with cloud security tools, infrastructure as code (IaC), and container security.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Strong understanding of network security, IAM, data security, and compliance in cloud contexts.
