Job summary

Medtronic is offering a 12-month Clinical Technology Internship across South Africa (Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria). The role supports clinical and technical teams, with on-site education and customer engagement in a dynamic field-based environment.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting healthcare professionals, assisting with procedures, demonstrations, installations and first-line product support while developing your clinical, technical and customer engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Currently in final year with graduation in 2026/2027 or recently completed.
• Degree in Clinical Technology with cardiology specialization as stated.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.
• Able to travel to support customer needs.
• Must be unemployed and under 30 years old.
• South African citizen; not enrolled in postgraduate studies.
• Commitment to complete a 12-month internship.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support before, during and after procedures.
• Support commercial growth within assigned accounts and territory.
• Assist with case preparation, product demonstrations, and first-line support.
• Respond to technical and application-related queries from sales colleagues and stakeholders.
• Help deliver on-site education and customer follow-up while adhering to hospital policies.
