Medtronic invites you to join a 12‑month Clinical Technologist Intern – Cardiovascular program across South Africa. As a field‑based intern in the Commercial team, you will support clinical and technical activities, assist with procedures, installations and on‑site education, while building patient‑focused skills.

The stipend is approximately R77,958 per year, with start date in November 2026, and travel to Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, and Pretoria as required.

Qualifications

• Currently in final year or recently completed studies (2026/2027)
• Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Technology or National Diploma in Clinical Technology with Cardiology specialization
• Clear written and verbal English communication
• Willingness to travel to support customer needs
• Must be unemployed and a South African citizen
• Must be under 30 and not enrolled in postgraduate studies
• Commitment to complete a 12‑month internship

Responsibilities

• Support commercial growth within assigned accounts and territory.
• Provide clinical and technical support before, during and after procedures.
• Assist with case preparation, product demonstrations, installations and first‑line product support.
• Respond to technical and application‑related queries from sales and external stakeholders.
• Help deliver on-site education, consultation and customer follow-up while following policies and hospital protocols.
