Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Clinical Technology Intern to join the Commercial team across South Africa. This 12‑month, field‑based internship offers hands‑on experience supporting clinicians and customers while developing clinical, technical and customer engagement skills.

You will be deployed in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg or Pretoria, travel as required, start November 2026, 40 hours per week, and must be graduating in 2026/2027 or recently completed, be unemployed and a SA citizen under 30.

Qualifications

• Final year student or recently completed studies in Clinical Technology.
• Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Technology or National Diploma in Clinical Technology.
• Must be a South African citizen and under 30.
• Must be unemployed and available for 12‑month internship.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical and technical needs of healthcare professionals.
• Assist with case preparation, product demonstrations, and first‑line product support.
• Provide on‑site education and customer engagement in a field‑based environment.
• Coordinate with sales colleagues and external stakeholders on queries.
