About the Role

Our client, a prestigious hospital group, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join their pharmacy department in Sandton . In this role, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes. You will be involved in medication management, patient counseling, drug information services, and participation in multidisciplinary rounds. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical pharmacy knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice within a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care services, including medication therapy management, therapeutic drug monitoring, and patient education.
• Review and dispense medications, ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and safety for all patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized medication treatment plans.
• Respond to drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals and provide evidence-based recommendations.

Requirements

• B.Pharm degree or M.Pharm degree from an accredited institution.
