Job summary

Glasshouse Recruiting is seeking a maintenance technician to attend to electrical and mechanical maintenance on medical/diagnostic equipment in hospitals and at suction unit installations. You will perform planned and ad-hoc maintenance, fault finding, and site inspections, with overtime and night shifts as needed.

Required qualifications include an N6 + Trade test Certificate or equivalent electrical qualification and a valid driver''s license with own vehicle.

Qualifications

• N6 + Trade test Certificate or equivalent electrical qualification.
• Relevant experience would be an advantage.
• Must have a valid driver''s licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Keep all planned maintenance and ad-hoc jobs up to date.
• Collect and deliver parts or equipment.
• Perform day to day maintenance tasks according to the maintenance schedule.
• Complete maintenance tasks up to administration level.
• Perform fault finding.
• Perform site inspections at hospitals.
• Be prepared to work overtime, standby and nightshift should the occasion arise.
• You may be asked to assist in duties outside of the above mentioned due to operational requirements.
