Job summary

Mediclinic George is seeking a Learning and Development Facilitator to ensure competence within the legislative environment and Mediclinic Southern Africa strategy. The role manages and reports on employee development, including student learning, in a structured manner.

Responsibilities include advocating a learning culture, aligning with MCSA strategy, managing formal student programs, and upholding local L&D standards to drive transformation through education.

Qualifications

• Adult learning principles applied to facilitation of learning.
• Education, training and relevant healthcare-related legislation and its application within the learning environment; HWSETA and SANC requirements.
• General nursing science and clinical skills.
• Instructional design using ADDIE model.
• Kirkpatrick levels of evaluation.
• Learning facilitation tools and best practices.
• MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Mediclinic clinical procedures and policies.
• Mediclinic Learning and Development strategy, policies and guidelines.
• Mentoring and performance coaching skills.
• Mediclinic record systems: Workforce Dimensions, Mediclinic Academy LMS, Connect, Webi.
• Mediclinic grievance, disciplinary & absenteeism processes (students).
• Legislative requirements applicable to learning and development.
• Transformation strategy, BBEE and EE targets.
• Value-based care principles.
