Job summary

PPS Recruitment in South Africa seeks a consultant for our Client Services Department to ensure effective customer satisfaction. The role requires strong scheme knowledge and ambassadorship for PPSHA.

Desired background includes Grade 12, a 3-year related qualification, and at least 2 years in a Medical Call Centre, with knowledge of Medical Aid Industry, Scheme Rules & Regulations, and ISO.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• 3-year tertiary qualification in a related field is required.
• Sound knowledge of the Medical Aid Industry, Scheme Rules & Regulations, ISO and related legislation.
• Effective business communication and writing skills with exceptional telephone etiquette (Afrikaans fluency is advantageous).
• Must be a strong team player and able to work under pressure.
• Computer literacy and exposure to Medical Administration system is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Effective and accurate recording and resolution of all enquiries.
• Maintain and ensure adherence to Service Levels Agreements.
• Facilitating corrections and providing feedback on resolution.
• Management of all priority and stale claim requests on behalf of members.
• Effective monitoring of Members' accounts to ensure correct payments in accordance with Nappi, Reason and Agreed Tariff Codes.
