Job summary

Old Mutual in Cape Town seeks an experienced professional to support client services and administration within retirement fund transfers. You will act as a subject matter expert, resolving complex queries and ensuring compliance with Pension Funds Act, FAIS and FICA.

Role requires Matric and 3+ years in financial services; knowledge of retirement fund admin is essential; MS Office proficiency is expected. This is a stable, client‑facing role with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Matric and minimum 3 years working experience in the Financial Services Industry.
• Complete knowledge of Retirement Fund administration from receipt to finalisation.
• Relevant Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
• Intermediate in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong communication and ability to work under pressure.
• Professional approach with attention to detail and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in client services/administration/product/process.
• Support Asset Transfer process to enhance planner experience and retain customers.
• Handle escalated queries/complaints and resolve to completion.
• Ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA and Pension Funds Act.
• Interpret legislation and apply to facts with sound judgement.
• Execute processes consistently while managing reputational risk.
• Collaborate across Compliance, Risk and Operations.
• Provide end-to-end administration for client onboarding and disbursements.
