Job summary

University of Fort Hare in Somerset West is seeking a Senior Officer to deliver efficient, high-quality client service across onboarding and ongoing transactions. You will help strengthen and embed operational processes, optimise workflows, and maintain high service standards while guiding and supporting the wider team.

This role also offers the opportunity to take ownership of key operational activities and quality control, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established processes

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in business administration, finance, economics or related field.
• Diploma or certification in financial services, compliance or client services is advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• 3–5 years’ experience in a client services or administrative role, preferably in financial services.
• Experience supporting client onboarding, including KYC/CDD processes and documentation.
• Proven experience handling client queries and maintaining high service standards.
