Old Mutual South Africa is seeking a Customer Service and Sales Support professional to perform standard customer service tasks, manage CRM data accuracy and develop customer relationships. The role includes handling inquiries, qualifying prospects and supporting business development initiatives.

Responsibilities also cover following compliance procedures, data entry, and acting as a first point of contact for queries while referring complex issues to colleagues.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 5 - Higher, Advance or Occupational Certificate or equivalent (Required)

Responsabilités

• Carry out standard customer service activities and handle simple customer inquiries.
• Assess compliance with established standards and protocols for routine inquiries.
• Receive visitors and assist with requests for information, referring complex matters to colleagues.
• Ensure basic customer details in the system are accurate and note follow-up actions.
• Interview the customer following a multilevel sales script to clarify requirements.
• Make calls to allocated potential customers to develop relationships and be the first contact for queries and complaints.
• Follow mandatory procedures to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Carry out routine business development support tasks and assist others by following procedures.
• Identify potential customers by gathering information and referrals from existing customers.
• Select data from information provided and input into spreadsheets or standard formats.
• Demonstrate understanding of networking value by participating in a network inside and outside the company.
