Job summary

iqbusiness South Africa seeks an experienced leader to run the day-to-day contractor lifecycle and ensure readiness from Day 1. You will be the client’s operational contact, managing service levels and escalations with a calm, process-driven approach.

Lead the operations team, oversee capacity, and drive improvements across onboarding, renewals, and exits while maintaining strong client relationships and clear reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in business, HR, operations, or a related field.
• At least 10 years in contingent workforce, managed-service, or vendor-management operations.
• Experience leading operations teams in a client-facing, service-level driven environment.
• Direct experience with vendor onboarding, contractor lifecycle governance, renewals, and exits at volume.
• Proven track record of meeting service levels and managing risks.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily operation of the contractor lifecycle: requisitions, supplier routing, onboarding, contractor care, renewals and exits.
• Own delivery against the service levels and act on risks before they become credits.
• Run the daily queue review and weekly service review with the client’s contingent workforce function.
• Lead the Operations Manager and team leaders, set standards for quality, accuracy and evidence.
