Job summary

TMF Group is seeking an accounting professional to deliver high quality management accounts under supervision. You will handle roll-forwards, reconciliations, and journal entries for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timely deadlines.

Ideal candidates have a degree in accountancy, 2–4 years of related experience, and strong MS Excel/Word skills. Fluency in English and independence in problem solving are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy completed or in final stages.

You will be responsible for the provision of a high-quality client service, producing service deliverables in accordance with internal and external deadlines. Your responsibilities will include the production of management accounts under review and supervision of the team's manager and team leader, used for preparation of financial statements and filings (like CBI and tax filings). You will also answer basic queries from clients and internal audit liaison team relating to preparation of management accounts and provide them with requested information.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accurate production of management accounts used in the production of accounting statements and reports required by the internal TMF audit/financial reporting team
• Roll-forward management accounts and accounting system (IFRS and Irish GAAP)
• Assisting in production of underlying portfolio reconciliation between trustee and client records
• Responsible for ensuring the timely completeness and accuracy of the accounting records while using the appropriate functionalities of the mandated systems (like DAX)
• Responsible for meeting the indicated deadlines for each allocated client
• Limited day-to-day contact for clients where sourcing of reports from clients are required.
• Responsible for the accurate booking of all journal entries and accounting documents into the general ledger for allocated clients for a complete financial closure (accruals, prepayments, re-evaluations)
• Assists in the maintenance of the chart of accounts, sub-ledger accounts and other accounting application configurations
• Identifies out-of-scope service and providing respective information to the team leader/manager
• Maintains contact with TMF audit team assisting in resolving client and audit queries
• Keeps up to date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation

Key Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy
• Completion of articles (preferred)
• 2-4 years' relevant accounting experience (preferred)
• Strong commercial awareness with understanding of business and financial impact
• Commitment to operational excellence, ensuring efficient and accurate processes
• Effective prioritisation
• Independent, resourceful, and solutions-oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with good planning ability
• Analytical, structured mindset with focus on process improvement and data integrity
• Fluency in English
