SANParks invites applications for a Clerical (Admin) Integrated Service Excellence Ambassador at Bontebok National Park. This fixed term contract ends 31 August 2027. Salary is R400 per day under EPWP rates.

Preference to local residents, women, youth and persons with disabilities. You will handle BSP admin, reporting and stakeholder coordination while maintaining data accuracy. Qualifications include Matric and a relevant post-secondary qualification; 1–2 years admin experience; English plus

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 or NCV Level 4 certificate.
• Post-secondary qualification in HR, Office/Business Admin, Public Administration or equivalent (NQF Level 6) would be an added advantage.
• Minimum 1–2 years general office administration experience.

Responsabilités

• Oversee administration linked to BSP implementation and other programmes.
• Receive and check documentation for correctness and completeness.
• Facilitate Human Capital Management and financial administration.
• Monitor and produce monthly reports on project progress.
• Maintain the database of Ambassadors/Monitors/Intern projects and activities.
• Ensure BSP and SANParks MOU compliance for this project.
• Assist with training needs and implementation for programmes.
• Be the link between Monitors in the Park, BSP Office & Head Office.

Clerical (Admin) Integrated Service Excellence Ambassador (Fixed Term Contract)

A vacancy currently exist for a Clerical (Admin) Tourism Service Excellence at Bontebok National Park. This is a fixed term contract ending 31 August 2027. The total remuneration package is a basic salary as per Expanded Public Works Programme rates of R400 per day. Preference will be given to unemployed persons aged between 18-35 years, women & Persons Living with Disabilities.

• Matric/Grade 12/ NCV level 4 certificate.
• Post-secondary school qualification in Human Resources, Office/Business Administration, Public
• Administration or relevant equivalent qualification (NQF Level 6) would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 1-2 years General Office Administration experience.
• Language proficiency in English and one other local language.
• Computer Competency (MS Outlook, Word and Excel, Power Point, MS Teams and databases) this will be assessed.
• Computer literacy levels will be tested.
• Clear criminal record.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid Driver’s License will serve as an added advantage.
• Preference will be given to applicants of local communities.
• Proof of residence (Swellendam Municipality).
