Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with relevant road and bridge design experience.
• Professional registration with ECSA as Pr.Eng or Candidate Engineer.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in road design and construction supervision.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and pavement engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Design plans for roads, highways, intersections, and bridge structures.
• Conduct traffic studies, geometric design, and pavement analysis.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, coordinating with teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with SANRAL standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop plans for new roads, highways, intersections, and bridge structures.

• Ensure compliance with the South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) standards and other relevant regulations.
• Perform site visits for design verification and construction supervision in the Mossel Bay area.

Requirements
