Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our Paarl team, focusing on planning, designing, and implementing essential urban infrastructure projects. You will work with municipal authorities to deliver water, sewer, stormwater, and road networks, contributing to sustainable urban development.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of municipal/urban infrastructure experience, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/Civil 3D), and knowledge of SA planning standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or Professional Technologist (Pr Tech Eng) registration is advantageous.
• 4–6 years of experience in municipal/urban infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of hydraulic modeling software for water and sewer systems.
• Understanding of South African municipal planning and engineering standards.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or Professional Technologist Engineer (Pr Tech Eng) registration with ECSA is advantageous.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in municipal or urban infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of hydraulic modeling software for water and sewer systems.
• Understanding of South African municipal planning and engineering standards.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project tasks.
• Experience with community engagement or public sector projects is a plus.
