About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead Construction Supervision efforts for various projects in East London and surrounding areas within the Eastern Cape . You will be responsible for overseeing the on-site execution of civil works, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. This role requires a hands-on approach and strong leadership to manage site activities effectively and ensure successful project delivery. You will be the key point of contact on site, coordinating with contractors and maintaining project integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities on civil engineering sites.
• Ensure construction work is performed according to approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor site safety conditions and enforce safety regulations for all personnel.
• Inspect work performed by contractors and subcontractors, approving progress payments.
• Resolve site issues and conflicts promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress logs, and material documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision or site engineering.
• Professional registration (Pr. Eng. or similar) is a plus.
