Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with coastal/marine focus.
  • Registered with ECSA as Pr.Eng or Candidate.
  • At least 6 years' civil engineering experience in coastal/port projects.
  • Proficient in Delft3D, Mike 21 and CAD software.
  • Knowledge of marine construction techniques and enviro considerations.
  • Strong PM and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan and manage coastal protection structures and dredging operations.
  • Perform site investigations, geotechnical surveys and EIAs for coastal works.
  • Prepare drawings, specs and tender documents for marine projects.
  • Oversee construction with safety and engineering standards in coastal environments.
  • Collaborate with maritime authorities and environmental agencies.
  • Analyze wave action, sediment transport and erosion for solutions.
