Placements24 is seeking a diligent Civil Design Engineer to join their George-based practice. You will design and document infrastructure projects, including residential, commercial, and municipal works, collaborating closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure technical integrity and successful delivery in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in civil design, preferably within consulting engineering.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, Revit and HEC-RAS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering designs for site development, including grading, drainage, roads, and utility systems.
• Develop and produce engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Conduct hydraulic analysis for stormwater management and water supply systems.
• Perform site inspections and construction supervision as required to ensure design adherence.
• Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other consultants on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Ensure designs meet all local authority regulations and standards.
