Job summary

Dante Personnel seeks an experienced Citrus Farm Manager to oversee operations on a large citrus farm in South Africa. The role requires managing a farm of more than 150 hectares with strong leadership and oversight of irrigation, pest control, fertilisation, pruning and orchard management.

The ideal candidate has 5 to 10 years of stable farm management experience and a Grade 12, preferably with an agricultural qualification, and will be responsible for budgeting, reporting and maintenance

Qualifications

• Must have experience managing a citrus farm of more than 150 hectares.
• 5-10 years experience as Citrus Farm Manager and stable working history.
• Experience with irrigation planning, pest control, fertilisation, pruning and orchard management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute irrigation, pest control, fertilisation, pruning and orchard management.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports.
• Handle budgeting, record keeping and reporting.
• Manage all maintenance and repairs on farm when and where needed.
