Job summary

Fidelity Services Group in Aliwal-North is seeking a responsible CIT driver reporting to the Branch Manager/Operations Manager. The role supports the Cash in Transit operations, ensuring procedures and schedules are followed.

The candidate must hold PSIRA Grade C, CIT certificate, firearm competency, be computer literate, and have at least 3 years in security. A valid driver’s license and own transport are advantageous; willingness to work irregular hours is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in security industry or similar role
• CIT management/supervisory experience is advantageous
• PSIRA accreditation with a Grade C qualification
• CIT certificate and firearm competency required
• Computer literacy is compulsory
• Valid driver’s license and own transport are advantageous
• Able to work under pressure and prepared to work irregular hours

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the vehicle, report mechanical faults and fuel as needed
• Assist with daily operational requirements
• Ensure security and movement of CIT schedules during transit
• Drive CIT vehicle when needed
• Report accidents and maintain security awareness
• Maintain contact with controllers and complete daily documentation
