Job summary

Fidelity Services Group (East London) seeks a responsible CIT Operations support role to assist the Branch Manager in ensuring CIT procedures and schedules are followed. The position involves vehicle oversight, security coordination, and daily operational duties at the East London Branch.

The ideal candidate will have PSIRA Grade C, CIT certificate, firearm competency, and at least 3 years in security. Flexibility for irregular hours and driving responsibilities is preferred.

Qualifications

• PSIRA accreditation with a minimum Grade C qualification.
• CIT certificate is required.
• Firearm competency – handgun qualification for business purposes.
• Computer literate is compulsory.
• At least 3 years’ experience in security industry or similar role.
• CIT management/supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and/or own transport is advantageous.
• Able to work under pressure and prepared to work irregular hours.
• Clear disciplinary record.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the vehicle i.e. report mechanical faults, refuelling, operating security systems, cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Assisting with daily operational requirements.
• Ensure security and manage movement of CIT schedules during transit.
• Driving the CIT vehicle when needed (if applicable).
• Accident prevention and reporting.
• Maintain contact with the controllers.
• Carry out security drills and maintain security awareness.
• Liaise with clients and all staff - management included.
• Complete documentation and administration (daily roster and reports).
• Report delays to the Operations Manager immediately.
• Risk management and compliance.
