Job summary

Fidelity Services Group in Worcester seeks a dependable Cash in Transit Driver to transport clients’ money, collect proofs of delivery, and ensure secure handover. You will operate under the Operations Manager and report delays, conduct vehicle checks, and maintain radio contact with controllers.

A valid Code C1 license, PDP, PSIRA Grade C, and CIT certificate are essential. The role requires honesty, reliability, the ability to work under pressure, physical fitness, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Must have clear criminal record.
• PSIRA Grade C qualification.

• Valid Code C1 driver’s license and PDP.
• At least 2 years’ experience in security or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients' money and collect proofs of delivery.
• Report delays to the Operations Manager immediately.
• Prevent incidents and report them.
• Maintain radio contact with controllers.
• Take preventive action against suspicious activity.
• Conduct vehicle audits and complete checklists.
• Drive safely and complete documentation of accidents/incidents.

Reporting to the Operations Manager

The above position is vacant at our Worcester Branch. The overall purpose of this position is to transport Crewman and Custodians to collect and deliver clients' money and provide proof of delivery and collection.

Minimum Requirements:

• Clear criminal record
• PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification
• Cash in Transit (CIT) Certificate
• Firearm competency - with a minimum handgun (for business purposes) qualification
• Valid drivers license - code C1 (minimum) and a valid PDP
• At least 2 years' experience in security industry or similar role (Advantageous at FSG)
• Able to work under pressure
• Physically fit

Job Specification (not totally inclusive):

• Full responsibility and accountability for collecting and delivering clients' money
• Report all delays to the Operations Manager immediately
• Incident prevention and reporting
• Maintain radio contact with controllers
• Take preventive action towards any suspicious activity
• Conduct vehicle audit and complete checklist
• Drive vehicle responsibly and complete documentation of accidents/ incidents
