Job summary

ATS Client is seeking a CISO to lead the security program for a fintech/payments platform. You will drive strategy, governance, risk management, and incident response to protect assets and data. In a remote-capable role, you will partner with executives to align security with business goals and customer trust.

You will build and mentor a high-performing team, publish compliant policies, and manage budgets while engaging with stakeholders across the organization to reduce risk and enable growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with information security governance, risk and compliance for global orgs.
• Ability to articulate complex security concepts to executives and the board.
• Proven leadership to build and mentor a security team.
• Experience publishing company-wide policies, standards and governance docs.
• Ability to align security with business goals and risk appetite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable information security strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure PCI DSS, GDPR and local data protection laws compliance.
• Oversee security architecture to support growth and security by design.
• Lead threat intelligence program and incident response planning and testing.
• Manage security budget, investments, and ROI justification.
