About the Role

The ideal candidate will be proactive, responsible, and possess a genuine love for working with children. The role requires someone who can manage daily routines, engage children in educational and recreational activities, and support their overall development. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children in a safe and stimulating home environment.
• Plan and execute age-appropriate educational activities, games, and crafts to foster learning and development.
• Prepare healthy and balanced meals and snacks for the children.
• Manage daily routines, including napping, playtime, and outdoor activities.
• Ensure children's hygiene and well-being, including bathing and dressing.
• Transport children to and from school or extracurricular activities as needed.
• Maintain open and consistent communication with parents regarding children's activities, progress, and any concerns.
• Light housekeeping duties related to the children's needs, such as tidying play areas and children's rooms.
• Administer basic first aid in case of minor injuries and report any significant issues to parents immediately.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a childminder, nanny, or similar role with verifiable references.
• Proven ability to care for young children (ages 3-5).
• Knowledge of child development milestones and age-appropriate activities.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, responsibility, and a nurturing disposition.
• Ability to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
• Own reliable transportation may be an advantage for school runs.
